About Julie Clark Lingen
Julie Clark Lingen is a national award-winning author, speaker, life coach, and entrepreneur who is on a mission to Prevent Regrets. As founder of the Life is Short...Get to Living(TM) lifestyle brand, she loves empowering others to live every day to the fullest--without regrets. Julie’s passion and urgency for life comes from learning she is living 50% at-risk for one of the world’s cruelest diseases—Huntington’s Disease—a rare, incurable degenerative brain disease that could start cutting her life short at anytime. (Read her full story here.) It has made her more determined than ever to live each day fully and inspire others to do so as well with a reminder that LIFE IS SHORT for all of us. None of us knows what the future holds so we need to GET TO LIVING! Julie is using her own powerful personal story to challenge others to see life from a different perspective: We shouldn't be afraid of dying; we should be afraid of regretting the way we lived. None of us can prevent dying, but ALL of us can prevent regrets by living more FULLY today. She’s launched a mission dear to her heart she calls 'The Regret Prevention MovementTM to help inspire and motivate others to make meaningful changes to their lives NOW--before it's too late--to live more fully and prevent regret on their deathbed. It's a mission that has become even more dear to her since being beside her dad during his dying days, and seeing that in the end, it's truly our regrets that cause us the most pain. Most people die with regrets, yet most of those regrets could be prevented by changing how we live now. Those life-changing days with her dad have also provided the inspiration for her next book (to be released in May 2020) where she'll share the wisdom and lessons she learned from one of the most difficult times in her life and what it has taught her about living, dying, and preventing regrets in the end. Many people have said Julie's inspiring story is a life-altering message we all need to hear because it could completely change the way you live the rest of your life.
You don’t have to be around Julie long to feel her warmth, love, laughter, kindness, and compassion. Her passion for helping others live (and love) fully is at the heart of everything she does. She is the author of a national-award winning book, Inspirational Coffee Breaks for Women: 12 Ground Rules for Pouring Your Heart into Life, which captured the hearts of readers across the country, becoming an Amazon.com bestseller and being named a finalist in the prestigious National Best Books Awards from USA Book News which honors the most outstanding books in the self-improvement genre. It also received the National Indie Excellence Award recognizing the "best of the best" in book publishing. It’s a dose of inspiration for the heart and soul. Empowering others to live fully is at the core of many of Julie's pursuits and is also the foundation of her other brands. She created The Inspirational Coffee Club™ brand to share her one-of-a-kind “Ground Rules” for Life and provide a fun, coffee-themed approach to personal growth, fulfillment and savoring each day to the fullest. Her Girls Gone M.I.L.D.™ brand is redefining beauty as we know it and inspiring women and girls of all ages to live beauty-FULLY with her message that our truest beauty is reflected in the way we live; not the way we look. Through her speaking, writing, coaching, and inspiring product lines, Julie hopes to motivate more people to live (and die) without regrets.
